Beloved is an « echte Brusseleir ». Previously working in advertising, now as an artist.
His atelier is based in the center of Brussels. The recycled plastic and sustainable wood providers are just a stone’s throw away.
Beloved is using computer numerical control machine (CNC) which is able to work on the surface of 2800 by 1300 mm with a maximum thickness of 50 mm.
Hoping his production of master piece has a positive impact on people and on climat.
philosophy
A more sustainable system is possible. Beloved is working with plastic recycled from the plastic waist in your garbage and wood from sustainable forestry.
Eco-friendly is not just fancy word. Beloved is a choice, a statement. From the materials and engines used to reliable and local providers.
methodology
Working on a CNC machine is not what you think it is. No, it is not just pressing the play button and taking a nap. You need to remain focused. Many hours in a row. Way before that you need to find impact full ideas. Then drow it with a software, and ony then translate everything so the CNC engine will understand it.
Beloved try to transmit values in his work: producing responsibly and locally in Brussels, Belgium, innovating craftmanship, and rethinking, exposing our world – the right thing for our client our planet.
